Seasons To Sell

What to CONSIGN and WHEN

You have probably heard the saying..."To everything, there is a season". We consign by season, because sweater shopping in January is way more "fun" than in July. What we also know is that people like to shop seasons a little early. And, the trend also applies to decorating.

So, we start taking Winter items on October 1st.

Think comfy & warm like sweaters, scarves, hats, and gloves...velvet, holiday, and glitter...heavy coats & boots... Believe it or not, Nov 1st is a great time for Christmas selling! Christmas, for retailers, is such a short (yet intense) selling season, your biggest earnings will be from November 1 to December 1.

Spring, in retail, starts February 1st.

In Michigan we have to think in layers. It's time to consign your bright colors, and linens when timing your Spring closet purge. Simplify your sun room, 3 season porch, wicker, garden features, ceramic pots, and bring them to us!

Ahh, yes, then there is Summer selling, beginning April 1st.

Finally, it is warm again and time for shorts, swimwear, & tanks. There is nothing better in the world, than a Michigan Summer!

August 1st marks the start of the Fall selling season.

It's back to comfy jeans, for apple picking and back to school. We are looking for darker colors from the closet. You might pull out any pumpkins, gourds, and landscapes with leaf motif.

What if your clean out doesn't match up with peak retail selling times?

Don't worry, bring it to us anyway. We are always "buying" off-season items, where we give you a "cash" offer on the spot. And then, we wait until the just the right time to put it out.
